Why can't you give an exact price without diagnostics?
The same symptom can have different causes. For example, a black screen could be due to the display panel, cable, memory, power, or Windows issues. Overheating could be due to dust, a faulty fan, or high software load.
How costs are agreed upon
Before starting the repair, the technician explains the cause of the breakdown, possible solutions, labor cost, and separately - the cost of parts, if needed. If the repair is not cost-effective, this is discussed before ordering parts.
