When to contact us
Laptop and PC repair prices
We confirm the final cost after diagnostics. We explain in advance what the price includes: labor, parts cost, repair complexity, and data risks.
PricesLaptop or PC Diagnostics
If our service performs the repair, the diagnostic cost may be included in the final price.
Cleaning and Thermal Paste
Price depends on model complexity and the need for thermal pads.
Windows Installation and Setup
Driver installation, basic software, and setup after data verification.
SSD Installation
SSD cost is calculated separately.
Screen Replacement Labor
Matrix cost and compatibility are calculated separately.
What symptoms indicate a problem?
A good upgrade starts not with the most expensive part, but with defining the task: office, study, gaming, video editing, 3D, or stable business operations.
- computer is old and slow
- need to build a new PC
- not enough memory or disk space
- noise and overheating
- need stability for work tasks
What does the technician check during diagnostics?
Before an upgrade, component compatibility, power supply condition, cooling, and actual system bottlenecks are checked.
- processor and motherboard
- RAM and SSD
- power supply
- graphics card
- cooling and case
What repair options are available?
Work includes component selection, assembly, neat cable management, BIOS/Windows setup, and stability testing.
- component selection
- SSD/RAM/GPU installation
- PC assembly
- BIOS and Windows setup
- stress test
What not to do yourself
Don't buy parts without checking compatibility: you might encounter limitations with the power supply, case, BIOS, or cooling system.
- don't choose a power supply without sufficient wattage
- don't mix incompatible RAM
- don't ignore high temperatures
- don't install a powerful graphics card in a weak case
When to contact us quickly
If your PC shuts down under load, smells burnt, is very noisy, or shows artifacts, diagnostics are needed first, not an upgrade.
- shutdowns
- artifacts
- overheating
- burnt smell
How the work goes
- You describe the problem via Telegram, phone, or the website form.
- The technician clarifies the model, symptoms, data importance, and what has already been tried.
- Diagnostics or a preliminary assessment is performed based on photos/description.
- FixLab explains the cause, solution options, and cost of work.
- After agreement, repair, setup, or part replacement is carried out.
- The device is checked after work, and the client receives recommendations.
What affects the price
The cost depends on the scope of work: selection, assembly, data transfer, setup, cable management, and testing.
- number of components
- case complexity
- if Windows reinstallation is needed
- data transfer
- testing
How much does a repair cost?
The exact cost can only be determined after diagnostics. The price depends on the model, required part, disassembly complexity, and overall device condition. Before starting the repair, the technician will explain what needs to be done and agree on the cost.
Can I message you on Telegram first?
Yes. It's best to immediately specify the device model, describe the symptoms, when the problem started, and attach photos or videos. This information helps us understand the urgency and prepare initial questions.
What about my data?
Data is not deleted unnecessarily. If there's a risk to the storage drive or a system reinstallation is needed, we first discuss file preservation and a safe work procedure.
When might a repair not be cost-effective?
If the cost of parts and labor is close to the price of a new device, or if there are multiple serious damages, the technician will honestly compare options: repair, upgrade, or replacement.
Specify the tasks the PC is needed for and the budget for components, if already determined.
