What signs indicate a problem?
If charging is intermittent, the connector is loose, or the laptop only works on AC power - it's important to check the entire power chain, not just randomly replace the battery or charger.
- charging indicator blinks or is off
- laptop works only from power adapter
- power jack is loose
- adapter gets hot or beeps
- battery percentage doesn't increase
What the technician checks during diagnostics
Not just the battery is checked: the problem could be in the adapter, cable, connector, power controller, or circuits on the board.
- adapter and cable
- power jack
- battery condition
- board power circuits
- traces of overheating and liquid
What repair options are available?
The repair option depends on the diagnostic result: sometimes an adapter is enough, sometimes a jack replacement or board work is needed.
- power jack replacement
- battery replacement after check
- power circuit repair
- adapter check
- cleaning after liquid spill
What you shouldn't do yourself
A bad adapter or sparking connector is dangerous for the board and battery. Do not wiggle the connector, prop up the charger, or use unknown power supplies.
- do not use an adapter with different wattage
- do not continue charging if there's a burning smell
- do not press on the connector
- do not charge a swollen battery
When to contact us quickly
Disconnect power if the connector sparks, the adapter gets very hot, the battery is swollen, there was a power surge, or the laptop shuts down when charging is connected.
- connector sparks
- swollen battery
- power surge
- burning smell

- After agreement, repair, setup, or part replacement is carried out.
- The device is checked after work, and the client receives recommendations.
What affects the price
The price depends on whether a simple connector replacement, a new battery, an adapter, or power circuit repair on the board is needed.
- connector type
- availability of compatible battery
- board condition
- traces of liquid
- disassembly complexity
How much does a repair cost?
The exact cost can only be determined after diagnostics. The price depends on the model, required part, disassembly complexity, and overall device condition. Before starting the repair, the technician will explain what needs to be done and agree on the cost.
Can I message you on Telegram first?
Yes. It's best to immediately specify the device model, describe the symptoms, when the problem started, and attach photos or videos. This information helps us understand the urgency and prepare initial questions.
What about my data?
Data is not deleted unnecessarily. If there's a risk to the storage drive or a system reinstallation is needed, we first discuss file preservation and a safe work procedure.
When might a repair not be cost-effective?
If the cost of parts and labor is close to the price of a new device, or if there are multiple serious damages, the technician will honestly compare options: repair, upgrade, or replacement.
Specify your laptop model, what the charging indicator shows, and attach a photo of the connector or adapter.
